Will these weathershields fit my 3rd Gen Hilux Surf?

Yes. The Slimline Weathershield set is precision-contoured for the 1996-2002 Hilux Surf and 4Runner (185 series). The four pieces fit both front and rear door frames on the 3rd Gen.

Do I need to drill any holes to install these?

No drilling or clips required. Each shield comes with pre-applied high-bond 3M adhesive tape — peel the backing, line up against the door frame, and press firmly. Allow 24 hours before exposing to heavy rain or car washes for full adhesion.

Can I still go through a car wash with these installed?

Yes — once the 3M adhesive has fully cured (24 hours after install), the shields are rated for normal automated and high-pressure car washes. They will not lift at highway speed either.

Are these the slimline or bubble-style weathershields?

Slimline. These are the low-profile "OEM-plus" style that hugs the door frame, not the older bulky bubble-style monsoon guards. The smoked acrylic looks tinted from outside but is clear enough to see through from the driver's seat.

Will these weathershields fit a 4th Gen Surf or 4Runner?
