FAQ
When do I need a diff drop? Above 2" of front lift on the IFS, the front diff hangs at a steeper angle relative to the CVs — accelerating CV joint wear. A diff drop kit bolts the diff lower (back to factory CV angle) to fix this.
How often do front ball joints wear? Typically 100,000–150,000km depending on conditions. Symptoms: clunking over bumps, looseness in the steering, knocking over speed bumps. OEM Toyota lasts longer than most aftermarket equivalents.
Are wheel bearings OEM Toyota? Yes — we stock Genuine Toyota OEM wheel bearings for the 3rd Gen. Aftermarket bearings are available but we don't recommend them for this application.
