A note on fitment, because we'd rather you knew first

This armrest started life as a 70 Series Land Cruiser part. We designed an adjustable mounting plate so it fits Surf and 4Runner door cards, and for most people it sits flush and stays put. But door cards vary between generations, trim levels and even sides of the same vehicle, so on some rigs you will see a small gap along the contour, and the passenger side can sit slightly differently to the driver's.

If yours isn't sitting how you want it, email us before you settle for it. Nine times out of ten it's the mounting plate needing more extension, and we'll walk you through it.

Frequently asked questions

Will the cup holder armrest fit my 3rd gen Hilux Surf or 4Runner?

Yes. While the armrests were originally designed for Land Cruiser models, the Cup Holder Armrest Set has an adjustable mounting plate designed to fit the 3rd Gen Hilux Surf and 4Runner (KZN185 / VZN185, 1996–2002). It also fits 1st and 2nd Gen Surf and 4Runner models, though 1st Gen vehicles may need minor trimming of the door card.

Will there be a gap between the armrest and my door card?

On most vehicles it sits flush. Because the armrest is adapted from a 70 Series Land Cruiser design and door cards vary by generation and trim, some rigs will show a small gap along the curve of the door, and the two sides can sit slightly differently. Extending the mounting plate to its full width before you fit it solves most of these. If yours still isn't sitting right, email us and we'll help you set it.

Does the cup holder armrest require drilling to install?

No drilling, screws, or modifications are needed. The armrest uses a wedge-fit design that slots into the window sill, secured by the adjustable mounting plate, grippy rubber feet and the door card lip. Allow about ten minutes to set both sides properly using the step-by-step guide.

Will the cup holder armrest fit a 4th gen Surf or 4Runner?

No. The 4th Gen Hilux Surf and 4Runner (2003–2009) use a different door card profile and the wedge-fit does not hold reliably on that model.

Do I need to buy two for both doors?

The Cup Holder Armrest Set is sold as a pair, so you receive one for the driver door and one for the passenger door in a single order.
